If you extend a 3″ brake to be 6″ long, it’s plausible you could see a minor improvement … but if you then extend that to 12″, I’d be surprised if you’d see any improvement. Great for the shooter but if you have people on benches next to you the will definetly hear it, and feel it when you take a shot. I tried a couple pragmatic approaches, and a friend helped me come up with an idea that worked well. Not only utilizing reduced recoil data…but looking … contiguous 48 states, DC and to all U.S. Military APO/FPO/DPO addresses. There are lots of factors in long-range shooting, and it’s easy to blow one out of proportion and completely ignore other factors that matter more. To me this product category is one of the harder ones to cover due to the products being fairly cheap (compared to the rest of the LR equipment out there) and easy to produce which means there are literally tons on the market.
