This view is almost identical today, minus the gateposts and flag, and also minus the Reichsadler stone eagle that can be seen in profile on the wall to the right - this eagle (minus its head and swastika) was still there when the U.S. Army was in this Kaserne in the 1950s, but was removed at some point since.
